The villa Wollank was located between Weinbergsweg ("Vineyard Street") and Veteranenstreet in Berlin's centre, not far from today's Hotel Kastanienhof.

 

The Gartenstrasse is located between Torstrasse in Berlin Mitte and Grenzstrasse of the district Wedding. From Hotel Kastanienhof you reach this street within a few minutes walking or you go by TRAM for two stops.

 

In 1842 the Stettiner Bahnhof opened as terminus of the railway line to the Prussian city of Stettin, connecting Berlin with the holiday resorts on the Baltic Sea.

It was one of the five stub terminal stations of Berlin.

From Hotel Kastanienhof you reach Nordbahnhof using TRAM 12 after three stops.
