Sanssouci Palace (The French „sans souci“ means “without care“)               Schloss Sanssouci, Potsdam
is situated in the same-named park. It is one of the best-known Hohenzollern Palaces of the Brandenburg state capital Potsdam. The Prussian king Frederick the Great had a small summer palace built from 1745 to 1747 in rococo style to his own conceptions.
He mandated the architect Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff with the planning.

... And now still a personal advice.                                                        Fließe im Spreewald
After a wonderful and eventful stay in Berlin, a short or a longer
stay at the Spree Forest would seem the thing to do.
If cycling along the „Gurkenradweg“, paddling on one of those
beautiful  streams towards the high forest, a guided tour into the Biosphere preserve or a barge trip with a museum visit, the Spree Forest gives enough variety for a short trip or a week’s vacation.
If the weather is nice or fantastic, you can always experience
culture and nature, exciting and rich in variety!!
